Hanging nearby is another picture by me, the same photographer, showing a very different piece of nature. This image is much more exuberant, with the blue, pink and purple plants engulfing all the green that can be seen. The lone red poppy flower, on the right of the picture, stands out head and shoulders above all the shrubbery. It looks like it is trying to keep a good view of another flower that is trying with all its might to rise above the rest. The white and pink petals look up, longing, trying to catch the sunlight. The curly plants around it stick out in all directions, immediately drawing your attention to the red poppy. Now, like the poppy, you stand watching, hoping that a gentle breeze will blow and you yourself will become part of this image.
